COLT MODEL 1911 .45 NATIONAL MATCH US ARMY PISTOLFeatured in this lot we have a Colt Model 1911 National Match U.S. Army semi automatic pistol chambered in .45 Auto. This pistol was manufactured in 1918 by Colt for the first World War. The pistol features wonderful hand stippled trench art across the front of the grip with a Fancy T at the center. The Model 1911 is one of the most recognizable and well known American pistols and is still in production today. This early 1911 features a 5" long round barrel, checkered wooden grips, steel frame, and adjustable rear sight. The top of the barrel is marked ".45 Auto N M 7791414". The side of the slide is marked "Model of 1911. U.S. Army" on the right and PATENTED APR. 20. 1897. SEPT. 9. 1902 DEC. 19. 1905. FEB. 14. 1911. AUG. 19. 1913 COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." on the left. The back of the slide is stamped with the rearing Colt horse on the left with a "GSH" stamped on the frame on the left with the serial number on the right. The pistol shows wonderful working condition with a smooth action, crisp trigger, and grip safety. The pistol shows good condition overall with some light wear and loss of the finish on the back of the slide. The pistol weights 2lbs 6oz. Serial Number: 219517. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.

*****COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. .45 caliber six-shot cylinder 7 1/2'' round barrel walnut grips. S/n 74061. Fairly even gray patina with a few scattered bits of brown and a few traces of blue action smooth marks clear bore clean grips with original finish. Manufactured 1881. NOTE: the barrel appears to be a 2nd generation barrel attached to an 1881 frame; the patina matches pretty well on both parts (the ejector housing retains most of its bluing).

*WWI Colt 1911 Semi-Auto Pistol with Holster .45 ACP cal. 5'' barrel S/N 247905. Blue finish walnut checkered grips; 1918 date of mfg. Hoyt 1917 dated holster with J.J.M. inspector's mark; Springfield Armory magazine. Condition: Excellent condition with an excellent bore. This gun has been professionally restored and retains ca 95% of the added finish with the only missing finish being a replaced mainspring housing with no finish. All markings are crisp and metal surfaces are excellent with some small areas of pitting under the new finish. The grips are replacements and are in excellent condition. The original holster is excellent.

It retains ca 97% WWII arsenal refinish with most loss at the muzzle and high edges. The magazine is a later original Colt commercial magazine. The grips are plastic WWII replacements and the left panel has no reinforcement rings at the escutcheons.

Colt Model 1860 Fluted Cylinder Percussion Revolver .44 cal. 7.5'' round barrel S/N 1454. Single-line Hartford address. Four-screw frame. Blued finish with silver-plated backstrap and triggerguard. Walnut grips. Condition: All metal is very sharp and crisp retaining traces of high blue finish mixing with nice brown patina. Backstrap and triggerguard retain all of the silver-plated finish with some of it bumbling up on the backstrap and thinning. Grips retain most of the original varnish with some gone on the high lines. A very nice untouched Colt revolver.
