LOT OF (3) WW2-ERA
LOT OF (3) WW2-ERA KNIVES/BAYONETS A lot consisting of an SS service dagger, a German Fireman's dress bayonet, and an Arisaka bayonet manufactured by the Tokyo arsenal. The SS dagger, by its RZM code, is marked as being manufactured by Arthur Schüttelhofer & Co., one of the more common manufacturers. The dagger is in worn condition with several large chips out of both ends of the handle, as well as visible wear from being sheathed and unsheathed and wear to part of the motto on the blade and most of the paint finish has worn off the scabbard. Both the Reich's Eagle and SS emblem are still present in the handle.
The Fireman's dress bayonet is in good condition with only some very minor dark spots on the nickel-finished blade and some minor wear to the finish on the Eagle-head pommel. The black plastic checkered grips are still in good condition as is the leather buffer pad at the base of the blade. The bayonet also includes its scabbard and frog although the leather frog has been damaged.
The Arisaka bayonet is in fine condition with several dark corrosion spots along the blade, several dings to the wood grip panels, and some rust spots present on the guard and pommel. The bayonet also includes its scabbard which has a few dents and heavy wear to the paint finish.
