American pictorial and verse sampler, central red brick church over "St. Johns Church built 1828/Consecrated October 1839", eight line religious verse, signed "Elizabeth Spencers Work Aged 17 years 1840", two pairs of angels with flowerpots, roses, large birds, other animals, strawberry vine border, silk on linen, 25 x 25-1/2 in. (sight); mahogany veneer frame, probably original. Losses to linen and silk, especially at border, fading, foxing, sampler has been conserved and mounted to muslin backing; veneer loss to one corner of frame.

Ecclesiastical Mosaic set in Marble American early 20th century a stone and glass mosaic of the Christ Child against a cross surrounded by amber marble on a solid slate backing; 44.5 x 28.25 in. Founded in 1827 St. Paul's Episcopal Church was originally located in downtown Albany New York on Lancaster Street. ''Old St. Paul's'' and the ninety surrounding blocks were slated for demolition in the 1950s to make way for a new government project Albany's Empire State Plaza. This piece was removed from the building prior to demolition in the mid-1960s.

John Church Music Publisher Archive Including Daguerreotypes Lot includes a sixth plate daguerreotype of Church housed in a full pressed paper case and an uncased ninth plate daguerreotype with the printed card of C.V. Allen's Boston studio inked My Father John Church PLUS two music books by Church family photographs and documents relating to his estate and his company which outlived him by 40 years. The music books are compilations of Church's Musical Visitor a Cincinnati-based monthly journal ''devoted to the Music and the Fine Arts '' which published local national and international music news and commentary and included sheet music for at least one song each month. The first is leather-bound and contains Volume 1 Nos. 1-12 (October 1871-September 1872) the other with printed paper boards containing Vol. 14 (January-December 1885). Also an inked family tree receipts for advertising for Church's company a 1926 workbook Elementary Theory and Practice published by the John Church Company which then billed itself as The House Devoted to the Progress of American Music papers related to Church's estate which totaled over $600 000 in 1890 eight cabinet photographs of family two photographs of the family estate Oldacre in Little Compton R.I. the 1928 financial report of the John Church Company as well as several documents including board meeting minutes relating to its sale to the Theodore Pressler Company in 1930.
