Chippendale style inlaid mahogany nine-tube hall clock early 20th century broken-arch top with central finial above astragal-shaped door ahead of eight-day three weight movement striking Westminster or Whittington chimes on nine tubes with brass and silvered dial above shaped waist door with oval glass on fan-inlaid base with bracket feet. H98 1/2'' W23'' D14 5/8'' Provenance: Wilkesboro North Carolina private collection. glass in top door probably replaced as it is not beveled; minor finish blemishes; areas of case reinforced with metalwork for no apparent reason; minor dents and scratches; clock is running in the gallery however we do not guarantee time pieces once they leave the gallery.

JUNGHANS 5 TUBE SIDE ASSIST MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK: Arched pediment with full column supports on bonnet. Beveled glass sides and front on body with 3/4 columns. Mixed metal face with Arabic numerals chime/silent and strike/silent secondary dials chimes on the quarter hour. Side assist crank and pendulum movement with 5 tube musical gongs. Crank in office no key for bonnet or body doors.CONDITION: Note some loose decoration currently running but not guaranteed to continue. Clock strikes hour on the 45 minute mark currently.

Condition: Movement is complete however one weight cable is broken and pendulum suspension spring is broken case with old crackled finish minor abrasions to feet other minor imperfections.
