Winchester Model 1873 Rifle .22Winchester Model 1873 Rifle .22 rimfire cal. short 24.5'' octagonal barrel S/N 302716B. Marked on the top flat of barrel 22 Short also on the cartridge carrier. Walnut buttstock and forearm. Condition: All metal is sharp and crisp. Barrel and magazine has a coat of shellac painted on the metal to preserve the metal underneath which it is a nice plum with traces of blue finish. Frame is sharp and crisp with a nice brown patina. Buttstock and forearm have a dark patina. Bore is good; will clean to better.
