American Percussion Double-Barrel
American Percussion Double-Barrel Pistol by J. C. Grubb 20 gauge 6.5" round barrels. Marked on the top of the barrels J.C. Grubb. Engraved back-action percussion locks engraved breech and triggerguard. Steel cap box in the grip. Checkered walnut stock with German silver tip. Condition: Barrels are smooth?with?brown patina. Locks are sharp and crisp with a?dark patina. Stock?has some nicks and dings. Ramrod is a replacement.

Percussion American Made Pistol .38 cal. 18'' octagonal barrel forward action percussion lock. Brass triggerguard with brass butt cap pewter tip. Rear buckhorn-style sight front brass blade. Walnut stock. Condition: Barrel has a brown patina with some pitting around the percussion drum. Lockplate is a dark brown with some pitting around the lockplate bordering the drum. Stock is excellent with some nicks and dings.

Allen - overall good condition, some light pitting. Other - light pitting, large loss to left side of grip, crack in right side of grip, screw added to barrel tang.

Savage Double-Action Percussion
Savage Double-Action Percussion Navy Revolver .36 cal. 7'' octagonal barrel S/N 13517. Walnut grips. Condition: All metal has been cleaned leaving a gunmetal grey mixing with some pitting scattered throughout the revolver. Grips still retain a very light cartouche on the left one. Both grips are in good condition with some nicks and dings.

Very good condition.

Double-Barrel Percussion Pistol
Double-Barrel Percussion Pistol by P. Vallee of Philadelphia .60 cal. smoothbore 7'' round double barrels silver line inlaid at breech. Back-action percussion locks left lock is engraved Phila in script; right side engraved P. Vallee in script. Iron triggerguard with pineapple finial and iron ramrod ferule; German silver escutcheons and butt-cap. Finely figured wood stock with checkered handle. This pistol was featured on page 11 in the AS of AC Exceptional Arms Magazine that was published in 2003. They list it as ''Vallee a French emigrant settled in Philadelphia in 1826 on the corner of 2nd and Walnut streets and opened a shop in the three-story building that eventually became the John Krider gunshop. It was also exhibited at the National fireams museum.'' A very fine and rare example of an American-made percussion pistol. (See Exceptional Arms AS of AC Dec. 2003 page 11.) Condition: All metal is sharp and crisp. The barrels still retain light brown twist pattern turning grey. Breech plugs have a nice untouched dark patina. Locks and hammers evenly match the breech plugs. Stock has untouched dark patina.

Condition: Barrel has a nice plum finish with sharp and crisp lines. Lockplate has a dark patina with some staining. Stock has some nicks and dings. Nice sharp and crisp pistol.
