Base marked "China". 2 5/8" H. 5th item: Chinese silver metal snuff bottle, flattened ovoid form with enameled crab and floral decoration. 2 1/2" H. 6th item: Chinese snuff bottle, flatened ovoid form with mosaic mother of pearl body and carved inset stone oval panels having floral designs. Four incised character marks to base. 2 1/2" H. 2nd, 3rd & 6th items Late 19th century. Others are 20th century. Provenance: Collection of Fred C. Kennedy (1908-1995). Mr. Kennedy was a native of Rochester, Minnesota who was an avid mineral and snuff bottle collector throughout his life. He donated many specimens to The Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC and upon his death, left most of his collection to Carlton College in Northfield, Minnesota. His obituary was featured in the publication "The Mineralogical Record".   PAIR JAPANESE KANO SCROLLS FROM 4 SEASONSPair of Japanese Kano School Scrolls depicting "Birds and Flowers of the Four Seasons". 1st item: Watercolor on silk painting depicting a Chinese Golden Pheasant in center of a landscape, surrounded by its mate and other smaller birds, including a black bird flying overhead and small white pollen or snowflakes in the air. Inscription and seal lower left. Image - 34 1/2" H x 12 3/8" W. Overall - 63" H x 16" W. 2nd item: Watercolor on silk scroll painting, depicting a Chinese golden pheasant peering over a branch at a female bird. They are flanked by white and pink peonies, while other birds fly near a prunus branch overhead. Signed lower right with seal and inscription. Image - 34" H x 12" W. Overall - 54" H x 16" W. Likely late 18th century or earlier. Provenance: The collection/estate of Mr. and Mrs. W. Jeter Eason, Memphis, Tennessee, by descent to present consignors. Image retains bright colors with minimal ground discoloration but has 2 long narrow stains running the length of the image and some scattered creases. 2nd item: Main image is in very good condition with a few extraneous paint splatters (not tears) and light toning. However, the ends are in poor condition: bottom bar missing, upper brocade section and hanging bar are worn and fragile.

Cup: 2 5/8" H, saucer: 1 1/4" H x 5 1/8" dia. 19th century.   MEISSEN 4 SEASONS FIGURAL CENTERPIECE & CANDELABRA, 2 P...1st item: German Meissen Rococo style tall porcelain figural two-part centerpiece consisting of an oval reticulated bowl, with handles, supported on a central standard with putti engaging in various allegorical activities relating to the four seasons, atop a round rococo base, with raised applied flower and leaf decoration; gilt highlights throughout. Underside with blue underglaze crossed swords mark, 28, and other incised numbers. Together with a conforming rocaille base with matching decoration also marked with blue underglaze crossed swords mark and other incised numbers. Centerpiece alone measures 16" H x 15 1/2" W x 10 3/4" D. Overall with base: 20 1/4" H. 2nd item: A convertible German Meissen Rococo style figural candelabra/candlestick consisting of a removable three-arm candleholder above a branch-style standard adorned with two putti representing autumn and winter and a scrolled footed base; raised applied floral and fruit decoration and gilt highlights throughout. The removable arm and base are likely not original to each other. The base underside has blue underglaze crossed swords mark and other incised numbers. 19 1/4" H x 10 1/2" dia. All pieces 4th quarter 19th century. Condition: 1st item: One handle of basket with old repair. One top edge of the base with old repair. Scattered fleabites and losses to applied flowers to both pieces. 2nd item: Scattered fleabites and losses to applied flowers, overall good condition. The removable candleholder does not sit flush into the base and is likely not original. Lacking the matching second candelabra.

Note: This was one of André's most beloved pieces, as he wore it frequently from about 1995. He was photographed wearing it to the Board Aid Lifebeat Benefit at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California on March 14, 1995, and attending numerous New York fashion week shows during the fall season, including for the Fall 2004, 2010, and 2014 seasons. He also wore it to the inauguration of President Barack Obama in January 2009, accompanied by good friend Diane Von Furstenberg. Condition In good overall condition; scattered snags to nylon at exterior, small loss to fur at center back neck where label was probably removed; and stich loss to nylon at hem.
