Marks crisp retains 90+% of its bluing barrel engraving still fairly clear and crisp with minor wear nickel plating on cylinder trigger guard and straps about 90% grips refinished action is fairly smooth wedge not numbered and has dings and dents from difficult removal missing latch to hold the lever in place.

This revolver features a 7 1/2" long octagonal barrel engraved six shot cylinder, case hardened frame, under barrel ram rod, walnut grips, and silver finish trigger guard. The top of the barrel displays clear stamping reading "ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY". The cylinder displays an engraved naval scene marked on the side "COLTS PATENT NO 25387 Engraved by W.L. Ornsby New York" and "Engaged 16 May 1845". The barrel, frame, cylinder, and trigger guard display matching serial number 25387 with the frame marked on the side "COLTS PATENT". This revolver has excellent mechanics and screws and has matching serial number, indicating a manufacture date of 1852. The Colt 1851 Navy was one of the most classic side arms of the Civil War and later in the Old West. Wild Bill Hickock was carrying a pair of Colt 1851 Navy revolvers when he was gunned down in Deadwood, South Dakota on August 2, 1876. The revolver shows good condition with some light wear due to handling and some minor wear on the blue'd finish. The pistol weights 2lbs 10oz. Serial Number: 25387. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.

An extremely nice Colt Navy, serial number 94635, manufactured in 1860, and retaining much original blue, case hardening, and silver plate on the trigger guard and backstrap. The Naval battle scene on the cylinder is almost completely visible, and the Hartford address is deep and clean. The gun is exceptionally nice, and very tight. It is in .36 caliber.
Dimensions: 7.5 inch barrel, and the gun overall is 14 inches long. Processing and shipping with in the continental U.S. $55.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Condition:
Very good to excellent overall. The grips show minor wear. The action is very tight, but the gun needs timing, as it sticks on cocking.
