7 IVORY IMMORTALS & LACQUER FRUITSet of 7 Japanese carved ivory immortal netsuke figures with stand, together with 2 carved lacquer fruit halves. 1st grouping - Seven immortal figures are all approximately 2"H and have matching Japanese signatures on back, with paper labels on the bottoms identifying them as Jurojin, Bishamon, Zbisu, Hotei, Daikoku, Benten, and Fukukokuju. All approximately 2"H. Also included is a 9"W hardwood stand. Early 20th century. 2nd grouping - Carved lacquer fruit halves are carved as melons with trailing vines; the interiors each are carved with a landscape scene depicting a lion, pagodas, mountains, and nine immortal style figures. 1/2" H x 4" W x 3-1/4" D. 19th century.
