A RENAISSANCE REVIVAL GILBERT NO. 7 FLOOR STANDING REGU...A RENAISSANCE REVIVAL GILBERT NO. 7 FLOOR STANDING REGULATOR WALNUT CLOCK, AMERICAN, CIRCA 1881, attributed to the Winchester, Connecticut maker, the pulpwood molded mask of a Bacchanalian maiden with radiant leaf crest issuing draped fringe swag above a frieze with banner swag over an arched long window door opening to reveal a 13" inch enameled porcelain dial and a triple case mercurial pendulum, marked "82," raised on a breakfront base with fixed obelisk forms and incised foliate details, on stepped feet. Height: 101" Width: 30" Depth: 12" Provenance: Lifelong Collection of Clocks and Antiques, Navasota, Texas.
Condition:
No label or marks other than the number 82 found, maker attributed, some apparent repairs, finials and blocks replaced, losses, overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
