Josp Golcher marked forward action percussion lock. Double-set triggers with brass furniture. Nicely striped curly maple stock. Comes with original leather hunting bag and powder horn. ''E. D.'' could be Edward Day of Trumbull County. Condition: Barrel has a nice untouched brown patina with some staining and pitting around the percussion drum and nipple. Lock and hammer have a brown patina mixing with some pitting. Stock with most of the original finish blending with a dark patina. A crack in stock on right side forward of the lock about 3'' long running at a diagonal from lock to the barrel. Brass furniture has a dark untouched patina. Leather hunting bag is complete with some cracking and crazing. It contains percussion cap cans and mold. Horn is in excellent condition.
