Georgian Sheffield fused plate covered entree dish by T&J Creswick with Paul Storr sterling finial circa 1828 heraldic silver finial marked Paul Storr on gadroon banded rectangular cover and conforming body flanked by handle and raised on bun feet; cover liner and warmer marked with Creswick punch finial with complete Storr hallmarks. H8'' W14 1/2'' D9'' Provenance: Charleston South Carolina collection. Good overall condition; some rubbing and bleeding to fused plate. Slightly uneven on feet. Cover liner and warming basin all appear to be original.
