WILLIE O'REE TROPHY PUCK AND GULLS HOCKEY STICKLot of (3) Willie O'Ree items to include: 1) Willie O' Ree 1966 Los Angeles Blades Presentation Trophy for his outstanding play and sportsmanship during the 1965-1966 Season with the Los Angeles Blades of the Western Hockey League. The consignor acquired this trophy from a San Diego-based dealer. Trophy measures approx. 5" wide x 6 1/4" tall. 2) Willie O'Ree signed Boston Bruins hockey puck. The consignor acquired this signed puck from a Boston-based dealer. The signature is guaranteed authentic. 3) 1970s era team-issued hockey stick signed by Willie O'Ree and additional members of the San Diego Gulls of the Western Hockey League. "San Diego Gulls" is printed in large type on one side of the shaft. Stick was manufactured by Northland. O'Ree, often referred to as the "Jackie Robinson of Hockey", was the first black player in the National Hockey League. He played in two games for the Boston Bruins during the 1957-58 season.
