COLLECTION OF (10) GENE MOORE FOR TIFFANY Collection of (10) Gene Moore designed for Tiffany & Co. enamel decorated sterling circus figurines displayed within a wonderfully whimsical circus tent display box. Includes a ring master, zebra on stand, seal with ball, elephant, lady with a parasol, a juggling clown, a clown on a unicycle, (2) standing clowns, and a clown car. Total approx. weight of all enamel decorated sterling figurines is 61.92 troy oz (gross). Accompanied by the original sketches/ideas from the consignor's designs. Interior of the display case is lit from above. From a Larchmont, NY estate. Dimensions: display box measures approx. 18.25" w x 18.75" d x 19.875" h. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Some minor enamel losses/wear.

RARE PRONK"DAME AU PARASOL"PLATE,YONGZHENG PERIOD A rare Chinese Pronk "La Dame Au Parasol" plate, dating from the Yongzheng perioid (1722-1735). A Museum quality rare plate depicting a lady with a parasol. Commissioned by the Dutch East India Co. to Dutch artist Cornelis Pronk (1691-1759), this was one of designs that could be copied on porcelain and intended for export. This composition was one of Pronk's most popular. In the design a lady gestures to three birds walking as shade from the sun is provided by a servant holding an ornate parasol over her head. Plate rim has red design elements and four medallions with ducks and gees, four with Chinese figures. Reverse side depicts eight insects in red glaze. Sticker on underside with writing: "Very Important - Pronk - Parisol - Plate C. 1736".
