MEISSEN PORCELAIN STANDING LIONESS Large German White Glazed Porcelain Lion Figure, circa 1930s, designed by sculptor August Gaul (Germany, 1869-1921), modeled by Max Esser, Model A 1054, on a rectangular base, base top edge embossed 'A. Gaul', impressed crossed swords mark and "Weiss" to underside and at one end of base, incised model # on underside, 12 1/4" high, 4 5/8" x 14 1/2" long. Good condition.
