CONDITION: Prior repair to rim, 2 small chips to rim, Perfect production imperfections, wear consistent with age and use.

LARGE CHINESE B & W CHARGER W/ CRANE&TOWER,LARGE CHINESE B & W CHARGER W/ CRANE&TOWER, MING D This mid 1600's Ming Dynasty bowl features a unique array of blue and white illustrations, this plates design essentially creates three vertical and rectangular segments which have little to no relativity or interaction with each other. In the center stands a piece of Chinese tower architecture, to the left a stock of bamboo, the right a tree. Proportions of each symbol are not related to perspective and are instead all depicted as being of equal size.

Conditin: in fair condition with firing crack to the center of the well, extended with three hairline, some glaze flake to the flower pattern, numerous pinholes to the back wall, the charger is little out of shape due to manufacture flaw. Signs of restoration are evident on the well, bottom well, interior and exterior walls. There is damage to the foot.
