Mount Vernon theorem, view of Mount Vernon with General Washington on porch, two ladies and a groomsman in yard, inscribed indistinctly at bottom center "Washington's House…(?)" and signed lower right on slip of paper "By Isabell R. Dumont Oct. the 13, 1833", derived from the print "Mount Vernon, The Seat of the Late Gen. G. Washington" by Samuel Seymour (1796-1823), Philadelphia, published March 15, 1804, watercolor and ink on paper, 17-5/8 x 20-5/8 in.; 19th century painted and gilt wood fluted panel frame. Restoration to paper at tears at edges and scattered throughout with likely retouch, possible water damage to inscription at bottom which may have been the same as on slip of paper; frame with abrasions. Estate of the Late William and Priscilla Carlebach, Mystic, Connecticut and Bedford, New York.
