GROUPING OF PORCELAIN SHOESLot of 31 porcelain shoes and figurines. Highlights include a Dresden boot, a Meissen-style figurine, Royal Worcester, and a variety of German bisque pieces. The Dresden boot measures 4 5/8" in length and 2 1/2" in height. Many of the pieces' gold accents are partially or almost fully worn away. Some pieces are subject to mild discoloration or staining and in a few cases fine hairline cracks. Paint loss to Royal Worcester shoe and lines throughout.

A Meissen Tabietere in the Form
A Meissen Tabietere in the Form of A Shoe With gilt metal mounts and with the interior of the lid lined with a silk textile. The shoe with a pointed toe and a French heel is hand decorated with two reserves with romantic figures surrounded by gilt decorations and a pink ground, and with the white porcelain elements decorated with sprays of polychrome flowers, and flowers also painted in the interior, marked on the underside in cobalt blue, measuring approx. 3-3/4"W x 1-1/2"D x 2"H.
