Interesting Five-Piece Collection of Royal Haeger Art Pottery, consisting of a tall pair of monochrome coral-glazed vases of baluster form in the 1950\'s style, one of the vases with a stenciled Royal Haeger mark on the base, the other with a black-and-silver printed paper Haeger label and a green-and-white Haeger paper label on the base, a mirror-black footed Royal Haeger bowl, ca. 1950-1955, with a black-and-silver Haeger printed paper label on the basal edge of the foot, a pink- and pale blue-glazed scroll candlestick of like date and a satin-white paneled vase of baluster form, also ca. 1955-1960, the latter two examples presently unmarked but known to be Haeger models.

HAGENAUER RICHARD ROHAC PATINATED BRONZE AFRICAN WARRIORAustria, circa 1935. The standing figure with a spear gazing out towards the distance. Height of figure 9 in. (Cond: good) c.f. Richard Rohac apprenticed in the Hagenhauer, Wien workshop as a young man. He continued to work for Hagenhauer upon completion of his apprenticeship another nine years before opening his own metalwork business in 1932.

In 1938 Goering became head of Germany's armed forces. The following year he officially became Hitler's deputy and legal heir. He obtained a vast income from his various official posts and converted an old Berlin palace into his official residence. Goering also made money from his own newspaper Essener National Zeitung and from stock in the aircraft industry. Condition: Excellent.
