Wilhelm Posoreck (1880-) a bronze
Wilhelm Posoreck (1880-) a bronze figure of a Spartan warrior on square marble base signed Gladenberks = Bronze giesserei G.m.t.H and 04 27ins Estimate ?300-500 There is an old chip to the front right corner of the plume of the helmet there is a screw thread at one end of the bow and an aperture in the other hand suggesting that there were terminals to the bow which the warrior is holding and have been lost a good even dark patina throughout with some slight knocks and grazes at the base but nothing serious currently loose on the base and will need re-fixing to the iron clasp which sits on top of the marble marble with a few small chips but otherwise ok.
