John Tramonte had worked at Walt Disney, Hollywood during the 1940's and befriended Cobean. Included with the illustration is an original photograph of Johnny Tramonte with written annotation "To my family-with all my love, Johnny Jr., Walt Disney Studios, Hollywood 1/26/40". Along with the photograph the group includes correspondence between Tramonte, Cobean, and other illustrators, a Postcard for Cobean, two illustrations from John Finnegan circa 1941, interior and exterior drawings, illustrations by Nick George, Roy Williams, Milt Schaffer, three unsigned illustrations, and five illustration copies. An incredible grouping and time capsule of Disney illustration history.
