Magnificent letterpress broadside embellished with a woodcut illustration showing the Wizard on stage with a pistol in one hand. Flowery language fills the bill to overflowing, describing the feats he will perform at the Theatre Royal, Bristol, mentioning in no uncertain terms that the tricks he will exhibit will be many of the same performed before Queen Victoria. These include the Inexhaustible Bottle, Dejeuner Magique, The Magic Scrapbook, The Suspension Chloroforiene, and more. 10 ¾ x 34 ¼". Restoration to borders only slightly affecting some text, minor soiling, old folds prominent. B.
