Bottles of this size and shape are now typically thought to be scent bottles. In actuality they served as a discreet carrier of the ladies tonics and herbals of the day, like Lydia Pinkham's Vegetable Compound for women which contained 20 percent alcohol by volume.Measures 5.5 inches.Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or areas of heavy wear, noting tarnishing of the mounts.
