Sheet: 21 1/4" x 24 3/4" Plate: 20 1/4" x 23 7/16" Note: Hekla Volcano, one of Iceland's most active volcanoes is recorded during the 17th century to have erupted impressively for a year from 1636-1637 and then again for seven months in 1693. A second erupting volcano found herein this map on the Island of Sicily is noted to have changed the coast line significantly in 1669.
