Sal (AKA Theresa Garcia-Salvador American, Red Corn Clan, Acoma Pueblo, b. 1964) A group of three Acoma, New Mexico, decorated seed pots, each signed "T.Sal / Acoma / N.M." and decorated in black, red, and cream. 8" H x 8" diameter (the largest). Provenance: From a Carlton House (21 East 61st Street) estate. Note: Theresa Garcia-Salvador was born in 1964 and is a member of the Red Corn Clan from the Acoma Pueblo. She signs her pieces T. Sal.

A THREE COLOR ACOMA OLLA, THIRD QUARTER 20TH CENTThe Acoma Pueblo potter jar decorated in panels of geometrics on th classic form with flared shoulder and rising neck is signed 'B M Terivio Acoma N. Mex' in unknown hand. There are Acoma potters who spell their last name Torivio.Measures 7.5 x 8 x 8 inches.Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs. There are scattered minor spots of light wear and rubs as shown.Provenance: The 40 year collection of Father Tom Wiederholt, Kansas City, Missouri. Tom was a close personal friend of scholar and curator Ralph 'Ted' Coe who advised Tom on most of his acquisitions.
