Harold Altman (American 1924-2003) "Figures and Awnings II". Aquatint on paper signed in pencil lower right titled lower center margin and "Edition 65" lower left. Altman who was born in New York in 1924 is best known for his etchings and lithographs. His subjects are figures in landscapes focusing on soft and serene scenes connecting people to nature. This early and rare etching is rather dark depicting four figures walking away from awnings. The image itself measures apprx 23" x 18-1/4" overall with glass and frame apprx. 36" x 29-1/2".
