The formation shows a wonderfully collected amethyst geode formation that shows a long shaft with a wide birth of a base that shows purple coloration to the amethyst inside the shaft and a whiter coloration to the gemstone and is ended with the formation of rock border with black coloration. The condition of this large amethyst geode shows a good general formation with a elongated shaft and a slight horizontal fissure to the rock in the back of the formation. The measurements of this amethyst geode is 27 1/8" x 11 3/4" x 7 3/4". The collective weight of this amethyst geode is 55lb 6oz.
