SOUTH CAROLINA REVOLUTIONARY WAR TABLE COVERpossibly late 18th century, red, black, and white diamond checkerboard segments, central grid with stitched diamond, star, and heart motifs, with applied British flags, crossed swords, and crown elements in metallic thread, green, red, and yellow stitched piping, fringe borders, 71-1/4 x 50-1/2 in.

Note: Per family tradition, reputedly made with fabric taken from soldiers' uniforms after the Battle of Cowpens.

Of the 16, included is the paddle whale steamer Island Home arriving at the dock at Onset. Photographs are in good condition but laid down. Album cover shows wear and deterioration to spine. Overall size is 7 1/4" x 10 1/4".

American Renaissance Revival Burled Walnut and Walnut Three-Piece Bedroom Suite, third quarter 19th century, attributed to Berkey & Gay, Grand Rapids, Michigan, comprised of a high-back bedstead, a deep-well dresser and a nightstand, of exhibition quality, each piece echoing the thematic elements found on the other pieces, the bed with an architecturally modeled crest, the headboard with an arched burlwood panel flanked by incised classical pilasters and rectilinear beveled panels, the posts with detached columns employing the same theme as the pilasters, the burled and paneled rails joined to the footboard with arched and burled top rail, the corners with columnar posts, h. 107", inside w. 60-1/2", outside w. 71", l. 86", the dressing bureau with an architecturally modeled crest en suite with the bed and a matching full-length mirror supported by a pair of pedestals, each with three drawers and a burled pagoda-form top supporting a singularly conceived circular stand, h. 108-3/4", w. 62-1/4", the nightstand with a concealed lift-top on a cove-molded platform, with a drawer over bag drawers and a cupboard below, h. 34-1/4", w. 19-1/2", d. 18-1/2".
