A French Empire Gilt Brass Clock, ca. 19th Century An antique clock on four button feet, with a jeweled movement, Arabic numerals on an enameled-bejeweled porcelain face with gilt figural hands. Clock is hinged to a domed box depicting a grotesque mask over a shell bowl, with Egyptian Revival columns, foliate garland and stars. Stamped "15 FIFTEEN JEWELS/ONE 1 ADJUSTMENT/A.D BIENNE" on the back. Overall approx. 4-3/4"H x 2-5/8"W x 1-7/8"D.
