IMPROVISED MACHETE Three edged weapons comprising, a Martindale (Birmingham England), sword handle machete, having a wooden grip and a steel half circle guard bound to the blade with brass wire, the blade having a single fuller, appropriately marked; an improvised sawback machete made from a thick steel foraging tool with a sharp edge on one side and a sawback, terminating to a repurposed wooden pistol grip with checkering, apparently unmarked; and a large, likely German, hunting knife having a stag handle with a brass finial and collar leading to a drop point blade having scrolling foliate and figural etched decoration, apparently unmarked, with a leather and brass sheath. Approximate measurements: first, blade l. 25" overall l. 30"; second, blade l. 17", overall l. 28. 5"; third,blade l. 13", overall l. 20. 5", in scabbard l. 21. 25".

  THREE ANTIQUE CUTLASSESThree assorted antique cutlasses. The first has a brass hilt with a 32" blade, visually similar to the cutlasses used by the French Napoleonic infantry. The other two -- one a hanger with a 26 1/2" blade and one with a 32" blade -- have wooden grips with barred steel guards. From tip of the blade to the butt of the hilt, the cutlasses measure 37 3/4", 37", and 31 1/4", respectively. Condition Varying degrees of weathering and rust across the three cutlasses, each grip is smooth.
