ANTIQUE MOROCCAN MIDDLE EASTERNANTIQUE MOROCCAN MIDDLE EASTERN KOUMMYA DAGGERDESCRIPTION: Antique Moroccan Middle Eastern Koummya dagger. This is an ornate Koummya dagger with curving steel blade. The double edged blade is nine inches long and one inch wide. Wood hilt inlaid with brass and silver plating chiseled with geometric motifs and scrollwork. Embossed and stamped brass, copper and silver scabbard presenting geometric and vegetation decoration. Fitted with two side loops and wood-lined interior. CIRCA: 20th Century. ORIGIN: Africa. An Ottoman Style Jambiya DaggerAn Ottoman Style Jambiya Dagger and Sheath With a white metal repousse decorated sheath and matching hilt unusual double steel blade with the appearance of gold koftgari decoration activated with a sliding leaf form in a central slot instead of the traditional rib on the blade. Both edges of the blade are undulating and the glad curves slightly. Most probably mid-19th century from the Balkan region.
