A Lot of African Good Luck
A Lot of African Good Luck Statues Carved darkened wood. The largest statue is a good luck fertility figure of a pregnant female probably from the Congo. It is 14-1/4" high by 4" wide. The two disk headed Akuaba fertility statues are carried by Akan women hoping to get pregnant in Ghana. Both figures are 13" in height and 4-3/4" wide. The Ibegi twin male and female figures are used after twins have been to the Yoruba people of Nigeria who care for them and honor them as they represent the adult spirit of the newborn twins. Both of these figures are 7" high by 3" wide.
