The empty landscape contains no creatures, may possibly be a design for an oleo (moving) backdrop for a children's show, ca. 1930s, unsigned, what may be a later pencil inscription in the lower margin reads: "SCI-434-47A-54 = 984". Housed in a metallic green metal casement frame, matted under plexiglass, OS: 17" x 80", SS: 10" x 73", scuffs to plexiglass on right side over mat.

Hinges slightly tender with 1/2-inch separation to foot of spine and upper board; corners lightly bumped; spine a shade toned as usual; otherwise binding is in comparably good condition and interior is fine.
