19th/20th C porcelain doll grouping to include Hertwig Parian style articulated doll, porcelain arms, legs and shoulder head, sawdust filled body with some tears, garments of the era in poor condition, marks 136 and 3/0 at back, 9 1/2"H, a bisque porcelain jointed doll, in pieces, arms with incised # 1304 garments in shreds, 6 1/4"H, Hertwig style 771 marked German sitter doll, 3 1/4"H, porcelain baby doll, painted, unmarked, porcelain bow topped doll, lacking arms, probably made in Japan, (3) articulated bisque dolls,2 1/2"L, miniature porcelain doll in vial, breaks to top of vial, porcelain ballerina and Japanese souvenir doll.

(PR) MINIATURE ARTICULATED DOLLS IN LEATHER CASE Pair of 19th c. Hand Painted and Articulated Wooden Dolls, with painted faces, possibly from a doll house, 1" and 1 1/8" high; housed in a 19th c. leather covered hinged case with latch, 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 5/8". Dolls in good condition, case has surface wear.

THREE CARVED ARTICULATED DOLLS. Probably American 2nd half-19th century wood. Dark stained figure with carved features chest buttocks and protruding belly. Traces of old paint. 13''h. And doll with penciled face and jacket in old natural finish 6 1/4''h. Together with simply made doll with penciled face in old natural finish. 7 1/4''h. All with imperfections. The largest has glued and pieced repairs including one pieced upper leg with replaced lower. The 6 1/4'' doll has glued repair to one arm and replaced nails. The last one has deattached lower arm drilled hole in chest and relaced lower leg.

Group of four carved wood figures: three female figures, one male, carved and polychromed wood: (1) Philippines religious figure, painted and gilt, 10-1/2 in., loss to fingers on both hands, loss to paint and gilding ; (2) partially articulated doll, 10-3/4 in., loss and chips top paint, pest damage, 4-1/2 in. split to wood ; (3) female figure, 7-1/4 in., loss to paint, chips and abrasions, grime ; (4) female figure with hat, 8-3/8 in., grime, fading of paint, abrasions , 19th century.
