With six (of seven) plates illustrating the achievements of early twentieth-century aviators with a number of them signed by the aviator featured. Signatures include: Louis Bleriot two copies (first to fly the English Channel); Albert C. Read (first nonstop crossing the Atlantic in a flying boat); Charles Lindbergh (first nonstop crossing the Atlantic without a flying boat); Richard Byrd (first to fly over both poles); and Charles Kingsford-Smith (first to fly between Australia and New Zealand). Blue wraps stained and in pieces; prints in good condition.

Previously collected by Dorothy Koelbel who worked for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Koelbel collected posters while traveling across the country for studio photo shoots. Condition: Some edgewear to poster including small vertical tear that extends through ''S'' in Paris along top edge plus small vertical tear along bottom edge extending through ''M'' in American. Few scattered pinholes along edges. Upper right corner missing a small piece.
