BACON REVOLVER. Pocket model 32 caliber 4'' round barrel walnut birds head grip Sn. 496 (on trigger). Bacon Arms Co. Norwich Conn. on top of barrel. Brown steel patina minor dings and scratches some light oxidation on frame and discoloration on grips. Very strong mechanical action.

BACON NAVY MODEL REVOLVER. Second type. .38 caliber six-shot cylinder 7 1/2'' octagonal barrel engraved frame and walnut grips. Stamped on the underside of the barrel is ''J.S. Heavenridge.'' Two J. Heavridges served with Indiana regiments during the Civil War and a ''J.S. Heavenridge appears in early 20th-century accounts of steam-powered factories in Missouri. Retains some of its original blueing with some wear and light corrosion to the frame.

The serial #825 places the handguns manufacturing date in the mid 1850's.Cheaper than the Colt 1849 pocket, this model never reached large sales figures. It has a 4" barrel with a five shot fluted cylinder. Matching serial numbers. Frame # under grips.

US ARMS CO. SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN, 10 GAUGE A double-barreled, exposed hammer shotgun manufactured by the U.S. Arms Company. The shotgun features two 30" Damascus steel barrels with a simple bead sight on a lightly engraved receiver with checkered walnut furniture. The shotgun does appear to have seen extensive use with some slight dings throughout as well as evidence of extensive repair to the main grip, and the toe of the stock has a large chip missing. All mechanical functions of the gun are in working order. Overall fine condition. S/N: 62265, Caliber: 10 Gauge, BBL: 30", OAL: 46 1/2"
