Classical butler's secretary/linen press, two-case construction, upper case with gothic arch mullion doors opening to adjustable shelved interior, lower case with drop-front drawer and fitted interior, two doors opening to three linen slides with Prussian blue paper linings, mahogany with pine secondary, American, second quarter 19th century, 87-1/2 x 49 x 21-1/4 in., with 1880s ledger account said to have been passed down with the desk. Good condition overall with old refinishing, minor veneer patches and repairs, scattered chips, one lower door slightly sprung, normal wear and abrasions.
