VICTORIAN FAUX BAMBOO AESTHETIC MOVEMENT DESK ATTRIB R.J. HORNER: In two sections, the upper recessed section with a three-quarter gallery above closed and open compartments, the lower section with a slightly canted overhanging top & a hinged lid inset with a leather writing surface, over a case enclosing a storage compartment on the left and two drawers on the right, raised on legs joined by decorative stretcher. Approx. 53.5'' h x 32'' w x 23'' d.
CONDITION: One lower, side cabinet door is missing small piece of trim. Some minor areas of lifting veneer. One missing rail at lower decorative stretcher portion. Light scuffs, scratches and signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
