Two Mintons plates: cabinet plate with hand painted fan decoration with extensive gilt and hand painted decoration on canary yellow ground, interior with chicken and chicks, signed lower right "William Mussill" (1870s), back with impressed Chinese characters and "Minton", 9-5/8 in.; one pate-sur-pate with reticulated borders, rectangular medallion with canted corners and cupid holding birdcage and hat, chocolate brown ground, signed lower right "A Birks" (Albion Birks, late 19th century), verso with impressed "Mintons", 9-1/8 in.
