This item comes from the personal collection of Senior U.S. District Judge Elizabeth Kovachevich, presented to her by businessman and Yankees owner, George Steinbrenner (1930-2010). Proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to the Gold Shield Foundation, an organization founded by Steinbrenner to provide assistance to surviving family members of Tampa Bay Area law enforcement or firefighters killed in the line of duty.
