Luigi Fabris is a well known Italian porcelain artist born in Bassano near Venice. He attended the Academy of Venice studying sculpture and was successful in this field. In 1918, following the end of World War I, he moved to Milan where he opened a factory to produce ceramics. He became highly successful and soon his work was being exported worldwide.
