The consignor had an early love for Disney and their beloved characters. She was employed by both the Disney Company and Warner Brothers Galleries for several years handling animation art and sales of scarce collectible items. She worked directly with many of the artists involved in the production of artwork, studio film and television shows. During her time with Warner Brothers Galleries she was able to procure pieces directly from the company vault in Burbank, CA.**

Provenance: Robert Gilmor, Jr. (1774-1848) "was the son of Maryland Revolutionary War leader Robert Gilmor, Sr. and Louisa Airey Gilmor. He became a prominent merchant, ship owner, East-India importer, and was a major art collector in Baltimore.
