Western Stock Saddle by H.T. Frazier Pueblo Colorado German silver saddle horn and German silver ornament on the corners of the skirt. Wood stirrups. Deaccessioned from the Eiteljorg Museum Indianapolis Indiana Condition: The lower latigos on the saddle are new replacements but the upper half of the saddle appears to be all original. Leather with expected dings and mars but overall very good.

The saddle features a wonderfully and professionally crafted leather and nickel silver construction. The saddle shows beautiful tooling to the seat jockey, fenders, and skirt with adornments of nickel silver to the latigo keeper and the corner of the skirt. The condition of this western show saddle is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this saddle is 40" x 24 1/2" x 14". The seat size is 14".

Early American Tansel Powder Horn
Early American Tansel Powder Horn 16'' length. Engraved with the Eagle clutching arrows and sheaths of wheat E. Pluribus Unum in a banner above the eagle a hunter (i.e. the ''Buckskinner'') hunting deer. Nice serpent's mouth with the teeth carved protruding on to the spout. This particular horn has been nicknamed the ''Buckskinner's powder horn.'' Interesting it has a screw top wood base with iron loop and another iron loop near the spout. One large brass tack has been in the base of the horn for a long time it has a beautiful dark brown halo around it. Condition: Horn is in excellent condition with a nice untouched yellow patina.

The cowhide seat is in a great natural pattern of deep brown and white while the structure is of steer horns. The same hide is used in neck/back rest. Measures 31.75'' h with seat depth of 16'' and width of 18.75''. Seat height is 14'' h.
