A Singing Bird in a Cage AutomatonA Singing Bird in a Cage Automaton The mechanical singing bird with vivid red plumage atop a perch with leafy vines sits in the center of a gilt metal cage stamped "Made in Japan" on the underside with a relief decoration around the base and small feet underneath. There is a small lever that projects from under the edge of the base to turn it on and off. It has a beautiful chirp; turns from side to side and wiggles its tail feathers. Measures approx. 11-1/4"H x 6"D. Ring at the top to hang.
