There are five 1lb cans of superfine black rifle powder from Dupont and Goex, Inc. cased in tin cans with screw on lids. The condition of this collection of black powder is good with some wear to the tin cans due to age and storage but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this collection of powder cans are 6 1/4" x 4 1/8" x 1 1/2" and 6 3/8" x 3 4/8" x 1 3/4". The collective weight of the cans of black powder is 4lb 2oz.

TRADITIONS 'LIGHTNING'
TRADITIONS 'LIGHTNING' BLACKPOWDER RIFLE, .50 CAL An inline, bolt-action black powder rifle manufactured in Spain and imported by Traditions of Connecticut. The rifle features a silver matte finish to the fluted barrel, frame, bolt and scope, mounted in a laminate wood stock with a cheek riser and rubber buttpad. The rifle has been mounted with a Tasco "World Class PLUS" scope with a variable zoom from 3X-9X magnification with a simple duplex crosshair. The scope is mounted on see-through scope rings which allow for use of the iron sights which are a simple U-notch rear with a barley corn front post. Different from most inlines, this rifle uses a traditional percussion cap nipple sized for musket caps. The rifle is in excellent condition overall with no corrosion visible to the chamber or rifling, which is marked as having a 1:32" twist rate.
