BLOOR DERBY ENGLISH PORCELAIN CHINA WITH HENRY FRANCIS DUPONT PROVENANCE, C. 1820'S, TWENTY-SIX PIECES, ALL WITH MATCHING DESIGN OF ..Bloor Derby English porcelain china with Henry Francis DuPont provenance, c. 1820's, twenty-six pieces, all with matching design of wide cobalt rim with white medallions and center, hand-painted floral and gilt decoration, strawberry form finials, iron/ rust red maker's mark verso of large "D" under crown, pieces include: three soup tureens on foot, one with hairline, one with professionally reconstructed lid, 7 3/4" h. x 7 1/2" w.; five graduated oval platters, three with crack/ hairline, largest: 14 1/4" l. x 10 3/8" w.; one serving bowl missing lid, two cracks, largest 3 1/2" l., bowl: 12 27/8" diam. x 7 1/2" h.; four dinner plates, one with crack, 10 1/2" diam.; nine salad plates, some hairlines and small chips/ flakes throughout, 8 1/16"; and one lid without matching vessel, three cracks, 9 1/2" diam.; along with three similarly decorated with red and purple crown marks, handpainted designs, gilt accents, includes bowl and two plates, wear consistent with age and use throughout including minor damages, loss of finish and wear/ loss to marks. [Provenance: Henry Francis DuPont (American, 1880-1969) to his daughter Pauline Louise DuPont Harrison (1918 - 2007), to her descendants including the current consignor.]

FINELY PAINTED BLOOR DERBY LIDDED INCENSE, EARLY 19THA Derby porcelain lidded incense bowl from the Robert Bloor era, circa 1811-1825, very finely painted with three distinct landscape vignettes. Gilt decoration on cobalt ground, with rams head motif. Stamped to the underside with a red "Bloor Derby" crown mark.
Measures 11" x 9".
Provenance: The collection of Shirley Bush Helzberg.
Condition
No chips or cracks. Crazing and light staining to the inside bowl basin. Wear to gilding.
