Pencil-signed, dated, and numbered (E. d'A. VI/X) to the bottom margin. Presented behind glass in a metal frame measuring 28 1/4" x 21 1/4".
Provenance : A private estate in Westwood Hills, Kansas; acquired from Jane Haslem Gallery in 1981.
Condition
Good condition. There is rippling to the sheet within the frame, and a little bit of toning inside the mat sight from light exposure. Not removed from the frame.

When shot at by a pistol, small roses spring from the body of the bush, and at the top, a larger silk rose appears which a spectator has previously signed. Approx. 6 x 14Ó. Lacking one leaf. Repainted.

Note: David Blossom began his artistic career in the American advertising industry working as an art director at Young & Rubicam working on the Ford Motor Company and Pan American Airlines accounts. He also created book covers and movie posters including the posters for the Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly," "A Fistful of Dollars," and "A few Dollars More."
