Barrel length: 5 1/2". Overall length: 11". Late 18th/early 19th century. Condition: Overall good condition with normal surface wear to brass, barrel with some interior dings, 1/8" x 7/8" old loss, or possibly in the making, to lower edge. Trigger guard with old modification. Ramrod is not present. Stock with light dings, some screws slightly buggered, some nails appear to be missing to the forearm. Action does not hold. Bootstrap is loose.

Slightly altered--see http://www.firearmscollector.com/cat/cat_details.asp?id=361 for another Williams blunderbuss that example with the folding bayonet on the underside and with a brass collar at the end of the stock. The present example has a scar from such a collar so it appears that the barrel has been flipped.
