Bust measurements laying flat range from 18"-19." This lot was from the Berta Belle Yeager Smith Estate of NE Howard County, Indiana, from 10 years ago. Antique 19th Century Cotton Day Dress with Lace is a subtle flesh pink, beige, and natural print, arranged vertically. The bodice is smocked with a layer of bobbin lace that creates a high neck, and drapes on the shoulders. The sleeves are also smocked, as is the skirt in several layers. More lace embellishes the skirt from the hips down the front. The hemline has wonderful ruching and ruffle. The back features a train. It closes in the back with hook and eyes. It measures laying flat 17 bust, 14 waste, 19 hips, 18 arms. It is in good condition with overall fading, some broken lace areas, and missing hook and eyes at the neck. POSSIBLY ORIGINAL WIG, ORIGINAL PATE, ORIGINAL BOOTS, BLUE STATIONERY EYES, CLOSED MOUTH, ORIGINAL KID GLOVES. PERIOD HAND EMBROIDERED GOWN WITH BOBBIN LACE COLLAR, CORSET COVER AND DRAWERS. SHOWS REPAIR TO SOLE OF ONE BOOT. DRESS HAS MINOR DAMAGE.

CA. 1880S HAND SEWN AND EMBROIDERED CRAZY QUILT,unique design. Features a central medallion with feather stitch embroidery. The medallion sits among a square field with various multicolored patches affixed with different embroidery motifs including the ubiquitous feather stitch, herringbone, floral and starburst motifs, etc. Border is comprised of a 1/4" circles to form a scallop, hemmed completely by bobbin lace. Overall fair condition. very elaborate and colorful, but there are quite a few areas of loss and shattering to the silk. 68" x 66". Red cotton backed.

LARGE LOT OF ASIAN TEXTILES AND OTHER ITEMS,mostly from East, South, and Central Asia. Late 19th early 20th century. To include: plain red silk piano shawl with hand knotted fringe, very good condition, 4' square. Hand embroidered throw, South Asian, depicting horses, elephants, peacocks, a central medallion, shows some embroidery loss, loss to fringe, 4' 10" square. Hand appliqued hanging with geometric designs, colorfully dyed cotton, edges are raw, 26" x 21". Very long wool paisley, large central black ground, orangey motifs along the borders, overall great condition with very minor moth nibbles, 62" x 130". A large paisley with a white central ground that was fashioned into a cloak, some small moth holes, 116" along the bottom edge. Central Asian woman's short vest with elaborate goldwork embroidery on a black wool ground, yellow silk lines, embroidery shows some tarnish, 16" across bust when laid flat, 19" armscye. Watered rayon lingerie bag with hand painted floral motif, 16" x 10" when closed. Two linen table runners, one with monogram B, other with monogram AMH, discoloration, small tears in drawnwork. Three silk handkerchiefs with wide silk bobbin lace edge, the handkerchief with the blue silk center is shot, but the lace is useable. Circular piece of organdy with hand embroidered motifs of foliage, as well as areas of intricate drawnwork, some areas show loss to ground fabric and discoloration, 29" diameter. Checked cotton Christening gown, drawnwork at the yoke and very simple embroidery, some discoloration. Hand embroidered wool underdress for Christening, some light discoloration. Wool blanket or throw with hand embroidered flowers along edge, some small moth holes, 40" square. Circular pieces of finely woven silk with blue hand painted flowers, 13 smaller pieces with 6" diameter, one larger piece with 26" diameter. Small raw silk bag with Chinese hand embroidered fabric scraps and buttons. Small cloth doll depicting a woman in late Qing dynasty Han woman's dress, 7 1/2" tall, some discoloration. Red, white, and blue silk flag on stick. Envelope from Kum Sing Chong Hong Kee & Co., East 13th St containing paper goods and artwork such as prints of Chinese paintings, a Japanese decor advertisement, an advertisement for Gifu paper lanterns, prints of different Chinese archetypal characters on colorful paper, stationary, small woodblock prints of birds, and other pieces of artwork. Small cardboard box with seeds strung onto string. Pair of child's straw zori with indigo dyed cotton straps, one odd zori with leather strap. Bamboo parasol with hand embroidered silk shade, great condition, no splits, some discoloration, detachable handle that unscrews for easier transport. Finally, a Chinese lacquerware box with gilded designs in which a fan is housed, carved tortoise staves, hand embroidered silk fan, silk tassels, excellent condition, under a glass which lifts up, box measures 12 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" and shows some wear to the silk lining.
