The painting is rendered in a post-impressionistic style with loose, rounded brushstrokes. Signed and dated "GB, 1930" lower left. Inscribed "Gertrud Boberg" and "MMOTSNP" on stretcher in verso. Housed in a giltwood frame with ornate decoration in the corners. Sight: 13 3/4" H x 23 1/2" W. Framed: 19" H x 28 1/2" W. 2nd item: Axel Hansen (Denmark, 1896-1936) painting depicting a male figure in a gray hat and vest driving a horse drawn wood cart full of hay past a three-slat, wooden fence along a dirt path beneath the midday sun.
